This Privacy Policy explains how Guidex IT Solutions processes information in connection with Guidex Creative Studio (“GCS”), a private business-management platform available to authorised business users.
Information collected through GCS
GCS may process information provided by authorised business users, including:
- Account and contact information
- Business profile information
- Customer and booking information entered into GCS
- Services, schedules and payment-status records
- Technical information required to operate and secure the service
Payment-card information processed through Stripe is handled by Stripe and is not directly stored by GCS.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Provide and maintain GCS features
- Manage accounts, customers and bookings
- Provide payment-related functionality
- Provide optional calendar synchronisation
- Send service-related communications
- Protect the security and reliability of GCS
- Comply with applicable legal requirements
Google Calendar integration
When an authorised GCS user voluntarily connects a Google account, GCS may access the Google account identification and Calendar permissions required to:
- Connect the correct Google account
- Create Google Calendar events for eligible GCS bookings
- Update those events when GCS bookings are changed or rescheduled
- Update or remove those events when GCS bookings are cancelled
- Maintain the authorised connection until the user disconnects it
Google Calendar connection is optional. Google Calendar information is used only to provide and maintain the calendar-sync feature requested by the user.
- GCS does not sell Google user data.
- GCS does not use Google Calendar data for advertising.
- GCS does not use Google Calendar data to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- GCS does not use Google Calendar information for unrelated purposes.
Guidex Creative Studio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data security and retention
Guidex uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GCS, meet legitimate operational needs and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Disconnecting Google Calendar
Authorised users can disconnect Google Calendar through the relevant GCS settings where available. Users can also revoke access through their Google Account permissions.
Disconnecting stops future Calendar synchronisation. Previously created Google Calendar events may remain unless they are separately removed.
Access, correction and deletion
Users can contact Guidex to request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
